In line with my passion for sustainable living, I’ve written three books, Grow It, Cook It, Store It, each aimed at helping people like you become more self-sufficient.
A Life Rooted in Self-Sufficiency
My name is Christine, and I’m blessed to be part of a multi-generation farming family in the beautiful rural west of Wales. My husband and I, along with our son, his partner, and our two grandchildren, live and work on our family farm. We raise beef cattle and sheep, tend to a large vegetable patch, and embrace a “grow it, cook it, eat it” way of life. It’s not just about food—it’s about knowing where our food comes from and how we can sustain ourselves.
Our son and daughter-in-law also run a small goat rental business that adds to the charm of our land, and our dogs are part of our daily farm routine. Each day here brings its own joys, like early morning walks through the bluebell woods or hearing the birds sing. We love spending time together in a special spot on our farm we call “Paradise Corner,” a small river bend where we enjoy quiet family moments.
Why I Chose to Build a Digital Business
Despite the deep joy our rural life brings, I realized that the self-sufficient lifestyle needed some extra support to keep up with modern demands. Farm life is often rewarding but also intense and all-consuming, with winters that are especially tough and work that never truly ends. I needed a way to build more time, financial stability, and flexibility into our lives.
So, I took a step back from the daily farm duties to pursue an online business that would provide that needed balance. This journey led me to Launch You, a program that perfectly aligns with the self-sufficient life I believe in while offering the resources, support, and community essential to any new endeavor.
Now, I have a business that not only supports our farm but allows me to savor the freedom of our off-grid life without worrying about income. I truly believe that anyone with a passion for sustainable living can create an income to support that dream—without sacrificing their values. I’m here to help others find the same freedom, empowering them to create businesses that align with the lives they want to lead.
